THE KNITTY Noras of Dawlish have been busy working on celebrations for Valentine’s Day.
The productive knitters have produced a love-themed top for the post box in The Strand.
Designed to mark February as ‘Heart Month’, the creation is in support of the British Heart Foundation.
The charity is raising awareness of cardio vascular disease and it is this campaign which is behind the post box ‘topper’.
It will be in place for the whole of February and any donations to the British Heart Foundation at its charity shops, with the nearest being in Teignmouth, or online.
A second post box in Park Road has also been decorated.
The celebrations have been welcomed by residents who say they brighten up the town and appreciated the amount of work put into the decorations.
