KNITTERS in Dawlish have been busy spreading Easter greetings with their latest creation.

The Knitty Noras of Dawlish group have installed their new postbox ‘topper’ outside Marine Stores in Exeter Road.

The Easter theme features a group of coloured crochet bunnies and chicks on top of the post box.

It joins a similar themed work already installed on top of the post box in The Strand. 

The Dawlish attractions are part of a national trend of ‘Yarn Bombers’ which has sprung up over the last few years.

The Dawlish crafters have made creations to mark various events including, most recently, Valentine’s Day and Christmas.
