ASHBURTON – The monthly barbecue was held at the hut. There are others this Sunday and on August 29, which will be the branch's celebration barbecue for the 90th anniversary of the Royal British Legion and entertainment will be acoustic guitarists Cafe Noir. They play gypsy jazz, Spanish and swing and performed at the civic event held in the town hall in March.

Children's wristbands are available for £1, 90th anniversary wristbands for £2 and 90th pin badges for £2. Bob Shemeld has stock or ask any committee member.

Items for Remembrancetime can now be ordered. If anyone has any specific requirements for wreaths etc (outside the usual orders) contact Bob Shemeld on 01364 654628 or any member of the RBL committee.
