THE boss of the troubled Broadmeadow Leisure Centre at Teignmouth has suddenly quit the district council.Adrienne Steatham, the environment and leisure business lead, whose remit included supervision of the centre, where four staff were disciplined for alleged irregularities as revealed in the Post last week.Details of the incident were posted on the centre's Facebook page, stating that two staff had been dismissed, one resigned, and another moved elsewhere.There was fury in some quarters, especially social media sites, that the problems had been made so public, and Teignbridge launched an inquiry into who and why the information was published.
