More than 2,000 music lovers squeezed into Newton Abbot Racecourse and were 'Dancing in the Moonlight' to headline act Toploader at Lemonfest.
The music festival, now in its second year, had a variety of music acts and entertainment to keep revellers amused.
'Feedback has been generally really good and it definitely had more of a festival feel this year,' said organiser Matt Freemantle.
'Highlights were probably an impromptu set on the main stage from 17-year-old lad Junk Star Kidz after one of the bands Tall Ships had to pull out last minute.
'Mad Dog Mcrea also did a fantastic set on the main stage too, getting everyone jigging around and dancing early on.
'Obviously Toploader were a massive highlight too, there were people on shoulders, crowd surfing and plenty of "Dancing In The Moonlight".'
The headline band settled into the area and enjoyed dinner at Newton Abbot's Pizza Cafe before their set.
The big top dance tent was also packed throughout and the Locally Grown Stage was also well received.
'It played host to some top local talent, including The Iconyx, The Aurora Skies, and finished with a bang, with a headline set from Rat Attack.'
Organisers are already thinking about the festival's future.
'I think all in all Lemonfest 2011 was a massive success – and we will most definitely be doing it again next year,' said Matt.
'Roll on Lemonfest 2012.'
