Teignbridge chairman Cllr Sylvia Russell, who had a grandstand view of the seaside concerts that rocked the pop world, from her seafront home, said there was still a buzz in the town six months later.

'I could not have wished for a more spectacular event in all my years as a councillor,' she said at an overview and scrutiny meeting on Tuesday.

Members were discussing an 'inquest' into the September shows and agreed that everything had gone like a dream.
