A VERY slow reader has finally returned two classic works of literature to Newton Abbot Library… 36 years after they were taken out!

The diligent student of politics and economics obviously found the pair of masterpieces a tad too tricky to wade through.

And who can blame them? Both are pretty heavy going. One was two volumes of Das Kapital by Marx and the other was the equally bulky Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith.
