TEIGNMOUTH lifeboat was involved in two incidents on Saturday.

While preparing to stand-by at the Shaldon Water Carnival, the lifeboat was diverted to help a 27ft pleasure boat in difficulties off Langstone Rock, Dawlish Warren.

The craft, with four adults on board, was taken in tow to Exmouth marina.

While leaving the marina, a jet ski containing two adults and a child, was seen to be having problems, and was towed to the marina slipway.

The lifeboat crew were Giles Squirrell, Andy Case, Dave Matthews and Pete Shilabeer.
