AWARD-WINNING film production team, JPC Films, takes to the streets of Newton Abbot to shoot up and coming projects.

Based out of Newton Abbot, JPC Films is a film production company of sizeable stature with extensive experience spanning near enough the entire industry.

Everything from television commercials to segments for broadcast, documentaries and music videos, JPC Films has an expansive filmography of self-produced shorts, has collaborated with the likes of Disney and Mercedes Benz on projects and has a slew of credits across the BBC, ITV and Sky.

JPC Films is the passion project of local independent film maker Jake Cauty who has been ‘creating movie madness’ since he was only 12 years old and, off the back of a string of successes, is gearing up to shoot his debut short film, ‘Bad Beat’ in November 2021.

The latest project for JPC Films was a series of films for the internet commisioned by Amercian YouTuber and civil rights activist - Prince Ea.

Each film will be a part of its own digital media campaign spearheaded by Prince Ea.

The streets surrounding Forde Park were the chosen location for one of these films. Set in Los Angeles and shot from the perspective of a police-worn bodycam, the purpose of the film is to get viewers thinking about corruption within the police.

Totnes local, Jamie Hull-Greenwood, could be seen directing and later starring in the second of the films.

The film, shot along the entrance to the pubic footpath from Brunel Industrial Estate to Buckland, starred local lad Harley Harris, 11, who made his on screen debut in the film: the purpose of which was to highlight the issues of judging others based on how they look.
