LOTTERY grants were awarded to community groups in Ashburton at the town’s full council meeting last week.

Town mayor Cllr Peter Brewer presented cheques to The Bank Youth Project for £500; Ashburton Rollers for £150; £460 to Ashburton Cricket Club; and £600 to Ashburton Youth Football Club.
