NEWTON Abbot's new carnival royalty have been introduced to the public.

The honour of being queen for the coming year has been awarded to 12-year-old Louisa Pengilly, a student at Coombeshead Academy.

Her attendants are Keeley McLaughlin, also 12 and a fellow Coombeshead student (right in our picture), and 13-year-old Robyn De Escofet, from Newton Abbot College.
