X FACTOR star Luke Friend is set to return to his old stomping ground for a homecoming gig on Friday (July 1).
The Teignmouth man will be taking to the stage at Newton Abbot’s Jolly Farmer, where he first burst onto the scene performing at open mic nights.
The 20-year-old former Coombeshead Academy student will be supporting singer songwriter JP Cooper and his friend, folk singer Cydney Brown.
The singer, recognisable for his impressive hair, came third on ITV’s X Factor in 2013 and has since began his rise to fame.
Luke will also be returning to his homeland on July 17 at Exeter Phoenix where he will be joined by local artists all showcasing their talent.
