A BUSY main road into and out of Teignmouth has been branded one of the most dangerous in Devon.

The B3912 across Little Haldon past the golf course is becoming known as 'calamity alley' after a spate of accidents.

A spokesman for the Westcountry Ambulance Service revealed the highway was probably the most frequent location for 999 road accidents across the county.

'There is nowhere else in the county where we attend so many accidents at the same spot,' he said.
