A 45-year-old man was yesterday remanded in custody on a charge of murder.
Brian Harris, of no fixed abode, was accused of the murder of a Newton Abbot man between November 11 and November 14.
No plea was entered.
Magistrates at Torquay remanded Harris in custody to Truro Crown Court, where a judge will today decide bail matters.
