A FACE bite attack victim has branded his fight-taunting attackers as 'low-life' after a nasty night-time assault in Newton Abbot town centre.

The 40-year-old victim, who lives locally, said after the incident: 'These people not only leave physical scars on you but they leave mental ones as well, which you just don't want.

'The attack took just seconds, but the effects can last a lifetime.'

Police have launched a hunt for the two men.

The victim revealed that it was the first time in eight months that his long-term partner had ventured out as part of her battle against panic attacks.

'It took a lot of courage for her to come out and then this happens.
