A MAN described as a ‘dangerous sexual predator’ has been jailed for raping two women while they slept.

Matthew Hall, from Newton Abbot, has been jailed for 14 years and put on the sex offenders register for life.

Hall, 39, admitted two charges of rape, as well as six further sexual counts against one of his victims.

Both women told Exeter Crown Court that they had been left ‘haunted’ by Hall's actions, the BBC reported.

The attacks took place on the women in South Devon between 2019 and 2022.

Detective Constable Tia Smallridge said: ‘Hall is a dangerous sexual predator whose own sexual desire and preoccupation was his only thought.

‘He showed no regard for the victims... and the lasting impact his actions will have in their futures’.

A probation officer told the court Hall was a ‘manipulative and predatory’ man and a risk to women in the future.
