A MAN remains in custody following yesterday’s incident in Newton Abbot involving a crossbow.
Police were called at around 1.30pm on Tuesday, February 17, to a property in the Buckland area following a report of threats being made to an ambulance crew during a call out to an address.
It was further reported that a man was in possession of a crossbow.
Officers attended the area and, following a search of a property, located and seized weapons.
A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
He remains in police custody, Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed.
