A NEWTON Abbot man has been given a conditional discharge on two drug offences.

Louis George Brown, aged 19, of Little Bewden, Holne, pleaded guilty to possessing a quantity of codeine syrup. He also admitted having a quantity of cannabis at Hayes.

South and West Devon Magistrates' Court gave him a conditional discharge for six months. He must also pay £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and £26 to fund victim services.
