NEWTON Abbot’s Butter Market is to be re-rendered above the building’s arches, and lettering removed and replaced.

The building dates back to 1867 and was listed in 1972.

It is owned by Teignbridge Council and its planning committee on Tuesday approved an application for the work along with listed building consent.
