A new room for guinea pigs has opened at the Animals in Distress rescue centre in Ipplepen.
And everyone is invited to its ‘grand opening’ tomorrow, June 12, from 5pm to 6.30pm, and meet the guinea pigs waiting to be re-homed at the centre.
A spokesperson for the rescue centre said: ‘The guinea pigs have just moved into their fabulous new accommodation and would like to show it off.
‘Come along and meet them, and you can also guinea-pig-out on some delicious cakes and biscuits.
‘Refreshments will be available, and children’s activities. You can also find out all about rabbit and guinea pig care from our friendly team. Entry is free and everyone is welcome.’
