POLICE are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a man who has been reported missing from the Exeter area.

James Merrifield, aged 22, was last seen leaving Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital at around 4.30am on Monday, July 21.

A spokesperson for Devon & Cornwall Police said: ‘He is described as being a white male, around 5ft 10ins tall with short brown hair and clean shaven.

‘James was wearing a black hoodie, grey jogging bottoms, blue/black trainers and was carrying a small black shoulder bag.

‘Anyone who sees James is asked to call us immediately on 999 quoting log 86 of 21 July’.
