Residents have given a mixed response to the district's 20-year development plans, with objection rates as high as 83 per cent.
Earlier this year the public was asked what it thought about Plan Teignbridge, the district council's vision for 2033.
Among the proposals were more than 12,000 homes, new roads and business opportunities.
When the consultation was launched housing supremo Cllr Philip Vogel said: 'If there are options you think we've missed then please tell us. It's great that residents are engaging in the plan and showing an interest and whatever their views we welcome them with open arms.'
