RECORD-BREAKING schoolgirl Molly Canham is celebrating achieving a year-long athletics goal, writes Ellen Grindley.

The 12-year-old athlete is now the all-time UK U13 girls' 800m record holder after smashing the previous record which had stood for ten years.

Her time of two minutes 14.17 seconds shaved a fraction off the previous record of two minutes 14.19 which has been in place since 2004.
