A SERIOUS collision in Newton Abbot has resulted in a man being rushed to Torbay Hospital with potentially ’life threatening injuries.’

Police and ambulance were called to the scene, near Twickenham Road in Buckland, at around 2.10pm after a motorbike and car collided.

The road has been closed in both directions while the emergency services carry out investigation work.
