TRAFFIC lights at one of the busiest junctions in Newton Abbot were out of action today Tuesday) – but the town still kept moving sweetly.
The greens and ambers and reds conked out this morning at the five-way Wolbough Street junction with the A382 near the Asda superstore.
A highways authority spokesman said efforts were being made to restore power.
A witness commented: ‘The traffic works just as well without them – just like at Penn Inn roundabout when the lights go there.’
