NEWTON Abbot MP Anne Marie Morris has been informed in no uncertain terms about the problems facing senior residents.
Attending a meeting organised by the local branch of Devon Senior Voice in the Courtenay Centre, Newton Abbot, on Friday, she heard older Teignbridge residents express worries about pensions and benefits, through to the bedroom tax and bankers to immigration and jobs.
It was a lively public meeting and she promised to take up many of their concerns, if necessary with government ministers, and asked them for evidence to support their cases.
