A DAWLISH mum is appealing for other parents to be extra vigilant after a pushchair was stolen from her garden in Exeter Road, Dawlish.
Catherine Young had left the blue and red Maclaren buggy in her garden for just a few hours while she went swimming on Saturday.
When she returned, the pushchair was missing.
Just a few months ago a pushchair was taken from nearby Iddesleigh Terrace.
'Whoever took it must have been pretty opportunistic,' said Mrs Young.
Three-year-old Miri is having to make do with an old pushchair until a replacement arrives.
Said Mrs Young: 'It seems that there are some pretty mean and rotten thieves around.
'I just want to warn other mums to be careful where they leave their pushchairs.'
