ACOUSTIC musicians have donated their Kingsteignton club’s proceeds to Rowcroft Hospice.

The Acoustic Warehouse Open Mic Music Club presented a cheque for £1,000 to Debbi Shotton, Rowcroft’s Community Fundraising Officer. It brings the total raised by the club to £3,000 since September 2013.

Debbi said: ‘The club’s support has never been more important to us. We need to raise a further £285,000 by the end of March 2017 and couldn’t do it without the help of the community.

‘We really appreciate the effort which goes into raising these vital funds.’

The music club meets weekly on Monday evenings at The Passage House Inn, Kingsteignton. It provides a local venue for all acoustic musicians and singer songwriters to develop their musical skills and to provide entertainment for an audience.

As well as regular local audiences, guests from the Passage House Hotel and adjoining timeshare accommodation have enjoyed the music.

Entrance is £1, which includes a raffle ticket.
