ONE Newton Abbot teenager is in touching distance of making the Miss England 2017 finals.

All that 17-year-old Natasha Fox has to do is win the title of Miss Devon – for which she has been selected as a finalist.

The former town carnival queen said: ‘I am feeling very honoured to be in the finals. If I won I would be absolutely over the moon.

‘It would be a big “in your face” to my secondary school bullies.

‘But I am keeping in mind that there are 11 other amazing girls in the competition. If another was to win, I would be so happy to be a part of their memories and crowning moment.

‘And I’ll be glad I made some life-long friends.’

The South Devon College student will find out if she has bagged herself the title of Miss Devon on April 30.

Natasha is also on a bid to raise money for the charity Beauty with a Purpose and is braving all with a skydive on April 12.
