A STROLL around the town centre area of Teignmouth is being promoted by the Royal Geographical Society.

It is only one-and-a-half miles long, but packs in a host of interesting historical and geographical features.

The Discovering Britain website believes that few people will think of Teignmouth when considering Devon.

But the suggested walk – one of many all over the country – gives the opportunity to find out why it is more than just another Devon seaside resort.
