HUMPH the Camel was the nativity presented in St Andrew's Parish Church, Ashburton, by the children of the Woodlanders Kindergarten, run by Ashburton Family Services.

The children who performed the nativity for parents and friends on Friday, are now leaving for primary school in the new year and were presented with a leaving gift.

Sharron Humphries, the kindergarten's deputy manager, said the children had worked really hard rehearsing and learning their songs and the performance was a great success.
