POLICE have issued CCTV images of a suspected arsonist following a blaze in Newton Abbot five months ago.

The fire, which was started deliberately, caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to the premises of Hawkins Wholesale Meats, at Milber Down, St Marychurch Road.

It occurred between midnight and 1am on Wednesday, June 24.

Newton Abbot police are appealing for help in identifying the suspect and ask that anyone who has any information as to his identity to contact them on 101 quoting the crime reference CR/044014/15 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
