RESIDENTS are being invited to a drop-in event to see plans for housing options at a key Newton Abbot site.

Teignbridge District Council is hosting the drop-in event to view proposed housing options for Bradley Lane, part of the Newton Abbot Town Centre Masterplan.

A staffed information stand will be located in Courtenay Street, Newton Abbot, on Wednesday September 9 from 11am to 3pm.

Following feedback from residents earlier this year, the council has worked with architects and designers to develop two housing options for Bradley Lane, informed by responses from local residents.

The proposals include different layouts, housing types and public spaces, with both options aiming to create an attractive, sustainable neighbourhood with strong connections to the town centre.

The event will give people the opportunity to view the proposals in more detail, ask questions and help shape the next stage of the project.

Residents will be able to view the plans, speak to the project team and share their views on what they like, what could be improved and which option they prefer.

The consultation is the next step in the Newton Abbot Town Centre Masterplan and is open until Monday October 5.
