Your assistance is required for this selection of carnival capers from the past.

The year is 1971 and the month is July. However, we have no idea as to which carnival from that year it is. The pirates pictured here may well be from Teignmouth Round Table - at least that what is says on their collecting bucket.

However, carnivals were far more frequent (and larger) in the 1970s, and we’ve drawn a blank as to where this might be .
