WE'VE been snubbed – that's the complaint from many in Teignmouth about the arrival of the Olympic torch during its pre-Games UK tour.
They are disappointed that the flame will spend only a few minutes on the town boundary and will not be carried down to the seafront – and that the bearer chosen to carry the torch lives in Exminster.
But they are still determined to have a good old fashioned celebratory knees-up on the big day. The relay is due to cross Shaldon Bridge on Sunday, May 20, before heading straight to Exeter.
Three Teingmouthians are due to take part, read their story in our online edition.
