AN outdoor swimming pool is set to celebrate its grand opening with a barbeque.

Chagford Swimming Pool, a 34 metre, river-fed pool, is to welcome back swimmers for the summer season on Saturday, May 27, but not before it celebrates the opening with a barbeque.

The pool opens will open at 2pm on May 27 and there will be a barbeque, cakes and stalls.

It should be mentioned, however, that there will no 'Lunchtime Lengths' session on the first day back.
