SUSAN COLLMAN, of Beechwood Avenue, Newton Abbot, writes:
Newton Abbot and District Musical Comedy Society (NADMCS) has done it again!
Their production has brought light and delight to the town.
Jack and the Beanstalk by Alan Frayn can be enjoyed on so many levels: clever and witty script, slick delivery, atmospheric staging and lighting, engaging and inventive choreography: not forgetting its variety of songs, all well sung.
I was in the audience on Monday and what a wonderful evening it was!
We could sit back and enjoy every moment from the first chords of the band to the glorious finale.
The society has huge talent coming through. Each main character shone, each ensemble member and dancer gave their all. The cast’s sheer exuberance and enjoyment was infectious.
Well done to all who made this possible, not only the excellent Production Team of Andrea Dobson, Elizabeth Law and John Amery, but every member of the cast, backstage crew, and those behind the scenes.
The production finishes on Sunday. Do go if you get the chance.
