IPPLEPEN'S week-long carnival ended with a bang on Saturday – in fact several bangs, whizzes and screeches.

Fireworks finished the Party in the Park with music from local musicians Darren Ellis and Jano Schmidt and the band Jurex Jurex, from Kingskerswell.

The parade earlier in the day attracted around 20 entries with motorised floats, walking entries, people in prams and other customised conveyances.
