Confidential patient records have been passed to this newspaper after being found in a skip.

The documents, which include details not only of medical conditions and treatments including intimate surgery but also addresses and personal financial information, had been dumped at the former Eldon Health Clinic, Torquay Road, Newton Abbot.

A container full of hypodermic needles had also been abandoned.
