A REPORT which could result in job losses and cuts to the £460,000 pay bill for top brass at Teignbridge Council will be presented to members on March 12.
The authority decided to commission an independent review last March shortly after leader Cllr Jeremy Christophers said the cost of the six-person Corporate Management Team had to come down.
At the time he said: 'I'm conscious that our senior management costs are higher than comparable district councils.
'Making the review independent will take the politics out of the process. Nothing will be ruled in and nothing will be ruled out.'
Since then an outside team has been looking at the roles played by senior staff such as £106,000 per year chief executive Nicola Bulbeck (left) and her deputy Phil Shears whose salary is a little under £83,000.
