Peter Mortimore was ploughing more than just his fields this week – he uncovered new ground as the country's sexiest farmer! The 25-year old, of Lizwell Farm, Widecombe-in-the-Moor, has just won a national competition run by Farmers' Weekly, showing that farmers do not always have dung on their boots and straw in their hair. He said: 'It was a bit of a surprise. Dad told me about a week after it had gone in and then it was forgotten about.'
