POLICE are in attendance following reports of a stabbing on East Street, Newton Abbot, around an hour ago.
Multiple police cars and an ambulance are currently at the scene.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed that a male has been taken to hospital.
The spokesman said: ‘Emergency services were called at 10.45am today to East Street, Newton Abbot, following reports of a male having sustained injuries to his legs.
‘The man has been taken to Torbay Hospital by the ambulance service, where he remains at this time.
‘Officers remain at the scene at this time.’
