AN account at an Ashburton bank was robbed of £2,000 after a purse snatch, police revealed this week.

The victim was persuaded to give her Pin number to a man who telephoned her after he convinced her he was a bank employee.

Now police have issued CCTV pictures of a woman also believed to have been involved in the incident.
