POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a serious motorcycle collision on the A38 at Harcombe Bends near Exeter.
Officers were called to the eastbound carriageway just before 3pm on Sunday, June 21, after reports of a crash involving a red Honda motorcycle.
A man in his 20s sustained serious injuries in the incident.
Police confirmed that his next of kin have been informed.
The road was closed for several hours while officers carried out investigations at the scene, causing disruption to traffic in the area.
Roads Policing officers have thanked motorists and local residents for their patience during the closure.
