JUST two days before voting opens in the General Election, all five political candidates for the Newton Abbot constituency will be meeting the public on Tuesday night at a husting organised by Churches Together in Dawlish.

Sitting MP Conservative Anne Marie Morris, independent David Halpin, Green Party candidate Megan Debenham, Lib Dem Martin Wrigley and Labour’s James Osben will be appearing at Dawlish College’s Millennium Hall in Elm Grove Road from 7pm to 8.30pm.

As well as speaking, they will be answering pre-submitted questions on the topics which matter.

Anyone wanting to put a question to the candidates can do so at [email protected] before midnight on Sunday.
