A TRIO of Lib Dem members will be looking after Newton Abbot’s Buckland and Milber Ward, it was decided today.
Gordon Hook, the group’s leader, and Colin Parker will keep their current seats with Chris Jenks stealing a spot at the table from Conservative Reg Winsor.
Cllr Hook, whose party took back control of the district authority, bagged 1,519 votes with Colin Parker scooping 1,162 and Chris Jenks earning 1,023.
Cllr Jenks, wasn’t at today’s count as he was called out to Portugal for work, said: ‘I am feeling ecstatic and delighted now that my nerves have settled.’
