LIBERAL-DEMOCRAT Alison Eden has been voted on to Teignbridge Council following last night’s by-election.
She has filled the vacancy on the Teignmouth Central Ward which had previously been a role for Tory councillor Geoff Bladon who died earlier this year.
She received 491 votes, while Conservative candidate Ralph Nicholas Maylam came second with 286 votes.
Ukip’s Steven Harvey picked up 111 votes, placing him third and in last place was Malcolm Tipper from the Labour Party, who received 72 votes.
