A TEIGNBRIDGE Post Office will close at the end of the month for refurbishment.

Located at Tesco Express on Newton Road, Kingsteignton Post Office will close on Tuesday, September 30 due to 'extensive building work'.

The work is part of a planned refurbishment by the Post Office.

It is expected to take up to five weeks to complete, with it set to re-open on Thursday, November 6.

‘The safety of our customers is of paramount importance to us, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it will be necessary for the service to close’, the Post Office said.

‘We would like to apologise for the inconvenience the closure may cause’, the company added.
