The village of Lustleigh is set to host crews filming the new Harry Potter series this week.
Fan sites have named the Dartmoor village as the likely site of Godric’s Hollow, home of Harry Potter’s parents before they were murdered by Lord Voldemort.
The HBO adaptation of the Harry Potter series is due to be aired on TV next year.
Plum Jam Productions, the TV production company linked with several other Harry Potter filming sites, has applied for several road closures and parking restrictions in Lustleigh from October 9 to 16. These include the main road through the village near the post office and church.
Lustleigh Parish Council said it had also agreed for the production company to place Halloween decorations, including pumpkins, around the granite cross on the village green, if they wish.
