POWER has been restored to more than 200 properties in the TQ12 area following a power outage.

A number of properties in the TQ12 area, mostly in and around Courtenay Street, including several of the shops, have been reconnected following a power outage at around noon.

National Grid engineers restored the power just before 1pm on Thursday, May 4.

The outage was due to a fault with National Grid's high voltage network.
